pany. In the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty five, on the thirteenth day of the month of July, in Macao, and in my office in Avenida Almeida Ribeiro, Numbers nineteen and twenty-one, on the first floor, in my presence, the notary Carlos de Mello Leitão, and of the two witnesses hereinafter nominated and who subscribe to these present, known to me, there came the following parties: - George Gwinnett Noble Tinson, of major age, a married man, resi- dent of Hongkong, where he is a lawyer, with an office in Prince's Building in Ice House Street, temporarily in this city, and Frederick Johnson Gellion, of major age, a married man, electrical engineer, a resident of Macao, at Estrada Dom João Paulino, both being persons whose identity I do cer- tify. And, they, the parties, declared: That by the present deed they constituted among themselves a private limited liability com- pany, on the terms and under the clauses of the following articles: First. This Company adopts the denomination of «So- ciedade de Abastecimento de Águas de Ma- cau, Limitada» (Macao Water Supply Com- pany Limited); with its head office in Ma- cao, installed temporarily in the house num- ber two of Rua Central. - Second. - Its object is to obtain from the Loyal Senate of Macao the concession for the exclusive mo- nopoly of the service of the supply of pota- ble and non-potable water to the city of Macao and to exploit the service referred to on the terms of the respective contract of concession as well as to execute all and any work or business which has direct or indi-
